Code Of Conduct - Juniors

St Albans Saints Soccer Club Juniors

Players Code of Conduct

 

-   All players must play by the Rules and within the spirit of the game;

-   All players must not argue with the match official.  If you disagree, have your Captain or Coach approach the match official during a break in play or after the match has concluded;

-   All players must control their temper.  Verbal abuse of officials or other players, deliberately, distracting or provoking another person is not acceptable or permitted in any sport;

-   All players must maintain their focus and work hard for themselves and the team;

-   All players must be a good sport and be prepared to acknowledge good play whether it is from your own team or the opposition;

-   All players must treat all players as they would like to be treated.  Do not interfere with bullying take unfair advantage of another player;

-   All players must cooperate with their coach, team mates and opponents.  Remember, without them there is no competition;

-   All players must play for their own enjoyment, and not only to please parents and coaches;

-   All players MUST remove all jewellery prior to training and match play, as it is a hazard towards you and those around you;

ST ALBANS SAINTS WILL NOT TOLERATE THE USE OF ANY BANNED OR UNAUTHORIZED DRUGS INCLUDING THE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL AT ANYTIME

Parents Code of Conduct

 

-   Parents please remember that children play sport for their enjoyment, and not yours;

-   Encourage children to play according to the rules and spirit of the game;

-   Encourage all children to participate, not force them;

-   Focus on a child's efforts and performance, rather than the result of Winning or Losing;

-   Encourage children to play by the rules of the sport;

-   Never yell at a child for making a mistake or losing the game;

-   Remember that children learn best by example, so applaud play by both teams;

-   Support all efforts to remove racial and religious vilification, verbal and physical abuse from sporting activities;

-   Respect the match official's decision and teach your child to do likewise;

-   Show respect and appreciation to Club Officials, including coaches, officials and administrators;

-   'Smart Supporting' - Not loud and intense.  Use a calm and relaxed tone of voice;

-   Respect the rights, dignity and worth of every young person regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion;

-   A parents opinion and concern is of value to the St Albans Saints Soccer Club, although a coaches word is final.  All complaints or disagreements are to be in writing and handled to the Junior Committee.

 

THE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL IS ONLY PERMITTED IN THE LICENSED AREA OF THE CLUB EACH CLUB HAS ITS OWN DESIGNATED AREAS SO MAKE SURE YOU ARE AWARE OF WHERE THESE AREAS ARE AND OBEY BY THEM
